About us
Nimsy Books is owned and operated by Naomi Proschogo. Naomi has been designing photo books for 10 years – first for friends and family, and more recently for customers all over Australia. She is passionate about photo books and loves seeing the faces of people as they see their precious photos in print for the first time. One of her favourite things is seeing her own children pull their photo books off the shelves and relive special days as they flick through the pages.
At Nimsy Books, we treat your photos as though they are our own. We believe that your photos have a story to tell and that this is best achieved through careful selection of layout and photo placement. As such, Nimsy Books creates page templates to suit your photos – not the other way around.
We also believe that creating a photo book should be an enjoyable experience. We aim to take the stress out of photo book creation so that you have more time and energy for all the other areas of your life.
How it works
- Select your product and complete an online order form. We will contact you with details for deposit payment and photo submission.
- You provide us with the photos and (if required) any extra information you would like included in the book (eg text for an introduction page, captions, etc).
- We design your book, expertly placing photos in varying layouts to bring your memories to life.
- We send you a link to an online page-flip style preview. You proof your book and let us know any changes you would like made to the final design.
- We make the changes, check the proof with you again and order your book once you are happy and have paid the remaining balance.
- Once printed, we check your book for print faults and then send it on home to you.

We stand alone in offering unlimited proofing opportunities and changes for all our products. We will not send a book to print until you are 100% happy with how it looks.
Our pricing structure for custom photo books is uniquely based on the number of photos contained in your book, and not the number of pages – enabling you to know upfront the final cost of your book.
